Ian
Ian grew up in Northern New Jersey and continues to maintain roots in the area.
On his second decade of photography, his most consistent genre is landscape, where he aims to capture feelings of nostalgia, solitude, and awe.
He’s currently shooting a project documenting the fire towers and “fire tower challenge” of the Catskill Region of New York.
Outside of photography he’s an outdoorsman, craftsman, and fisherman, three of his hobbies that had a crossover when he built his boat, Rascal, a twenty one foot center console.
Whether it’s building a boat, fly fishing for trout in mountain streams, exploring the coastal waters of New England, or snowshoeing in the Catskills he’s always looking for the next adventure.
